In this step I have taken the time to deepen my
burnt Sienna shadows around the hair line. |
 |
I have base coated the shirt and heart with Red
Napthol,
I did not have any Napa Red). the bow is Lemon Yellow plus
white. the jeans are Ultramarine blue plus White. the
background can be any sky color you might have plus White, plus a touch of
Burnt Sienna. The Sienna is to tone the sky color. |
 |
I have shaded the shirt with the red color plus Black, not
too very dark please. Highlight the sleeve with the Red plus a bit of
White. The bow is first shaded with Antique gold and then with a bit of
Burnt Sienna in the darkest areas. |
 |
Highlight the bow with White and add a few touches of Burnt
sienna around the know to indicate folds. Using the wonderful Sable
liner add the strokes of White around the bow. they indicate lace.
Add lace to the left sleeve as well. |
 |
Shade the jeans with Deep midnight Blue above the pocket, on
all the edges. and on the edges of the straps. |
 |
Line the jeans with Deep Midnight blue and add touches of
White to look like frayed edges. Add the buttons of Antique Gold. |
 |
Shade the buttons with Burnt Sienna. Begin the buckles
by lining with Burnt sienna, notice the right side. Then go over
this with antique Gold. |
 |
This picture shows how I allowed some of the Burnt sienna to
show. |
 |
Finally highlight both the buckle and the button with a very
light value of Lemon Yellow plus White. |
 |
Paint in the details of the heart with White. I cut
out the cupid and made a stencil. Much easier. |
