| After filling the eye sockets with White, the iris is painted with a very toned Deep Midnight Blue plus White. Tone the blue by adding a touch of Burnt Sienna and then some White. Be cautious to follow the corret size of the iris. the right one is smaller than the left. | |
| In order to set the eyes , one must float below the lash line with a dark color. I used Deep Midnight blue and floated directly under the lash line, corner to corner. | |
| Paint the pupil with Black. | |
| Add reflective light from 3 0'clock to 6 0'clock on the iris. Reflective light is several values lighter than the color of the iris. Use the base color of the iris and add White to it. | |
| Add the highlight of White at 11 0'clock. The highlight has a little tail which extends across the pupil. I also begin the lashes. Pay careful attention to the lashes. | |
| Notice that at first I begin the lashes by just adding a jiggy line of black and then I pull spikes out from that line. | |
| Fill in the nostrils with and inner mouth with Black. | |
| Paint the upper lip with Berry Red plus Burnt Sienna plus a touch of Fleshtone. Paint the lower lip with the same mixture adding a bit more Fleshtone. Float Fleshtone at the top of the lower lip. | |
